Storage
The rolls must be stored horizontally and parallel (not crossed) and never stacked more than 6 roofs high. The membranes must always be stored protected against weathering.

Applications
--> Waterproofing of roofs trafficable and non trafficable, both traditional and inverted.
--> Waterproofing of foundations, basements and underground jobs.
--> Waterproofing of swimming pools, tanks, and reservoirs.

Instruction for Use
In general, the usual procedures for continuous water proofing are followed, and application should be carried out by specialized personnel.

Application System
Polymeric Plastifelt can be applied either fully bonded or loose laid, depending on the protection and slope.

Polymeric Plastifelt is applied torched on, using a propane or butane gas torch.

Substrate
The substrate receiving the polymeric plastifelt membrane must be firm, dry, clean and free from badly adhered materials. It must also be even and smooth, without any elements that should damage the membrane.

Application of the Membrane
To adhere the membrane to the surface of the substrate three procedures can be used

--> Loose laid
--> Preming with asphaltic paint, and then flame bonding.
--> Hot polymeric bitumer.
